A self-indulgent post after a tough week
Feel free to skip this one.
I don’t know what is going on, but this week seems to have put a lot of us through the wringer. I got sicker than I’ve gotten in years (I’m fine now), my sister had to go to the ER in the middle of writing a thesis (she’s also fine now), and one of my friends had to watch an entire season of Love is Blind (status unclear). So I’m rewarding myself with a low-effort post for the random stuff kicking around in my head that deserves mentioning but not full posts to themselves.1 Enjoy?
I cannot stop thinking about the Carmen trailer
What. is. happening. I know this is a huge insult but it’s kind of giving American Dirt—just a little! We can only hope their marketing team learned from the barbed wire flower holders. All that said, I fully intend to be one of the first people in the theater because I love mess. That tattoo though… yikes.
Speaking of Paul Mescal
